Junior Legion baseball tryouts

Warren County Junior Legion baseball tryouts will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Legion Field at the end of Plumber St. in North Warren.

This is open to any players that live in Warren County between the ages of 12 and 16 (cannot turn 17 in 2022).

You must be able to supply an original birth certificate, no photo copies.

Bowling

Blanche Swaney rolled a 193 game and a 468 series to lead the Ladies Church League at Valley Bowling Center.

Renee Anthony hit 188 in a 500 series, Bonnie Umpleby knocked 182 in a 484 series and Pay Joy tossed a 168 in a 478 series.
