Warren’s girls basketball team won its fifth game in a row with its second-highest point total of the season, 65-19 over Bradford on Saturday at Warren Area High School.
The Lady Dragons — improving to 15-3 overall — led 19-4 after one quarter.
“We continue to find ways to improve and get better,” said Warren coach Lisa LaVan. “We will continue to grind to the end of the season. We don’t look past anyone and always step on to the floor knowing everyone we play against wants nothing more than to beat a great program like ours. We must always be prepared and always bring our ‘A’ game.”
Seniors Emma Ruhlman and Riley Childress continue to do just that, scoring 23 points each Saturday.
Ruhlman surpassed Jaimie Eaton’s 1,330 career points with 1,334 for fourth all-time for the Lady Dragons. She had 21 points through three quarters against Bradford.

Warren shut Bradford (2-15) out in the third quarter.
“One day at a time,” said LaVan. “Back at it Monday against a much-improved Corry team on Senior Night.”
