Sheffield posts volleyball win
Sheffield took the first set, dropped the second and bounced back to win two straight to knock off Brockway on Tuesday night, 3-1 (25-15, 22-25, 25-12, 25-20) in high school volleyball action.
Kadence Steffan had a whopping 41 assists and nine digs; Madeline Roell had 20 digs and went 23 of 24 from the service line; Emily Foster had 10 kills and six blocks; and Kassidy Orinko added 14 kills and eight digs.
“We passed so much better, which allowed us to be in system offensively,” said Wolverines head coach Melissa Lemay. “We had over 130 attack attempts and that can only happen with good passing.”
