RUSSELL — Jim Leaskey parred seven of nine holes on his way to a 38 and low-gross honors after Week Eight in the Cable Hollow Senior Men’s Friday Golf League.
Randy Scalise, who had the most points — 8 — and Gary Peterson recorded the low net with a 32 apiece. Paul Cathcart was the top point getter (53).
Recording birdies were Jack Lobell, Jim Hitchock, Jim Schwab, Bob Zurcher, Jon Vincent, Jon DeAngelo, Gary VanGuilder, Dave Garey and Jerry Abbey.

RUSSELL — The Sheffield Timber team of Bill Petransky, Bill McMillan, Terry Andersen and Kevin Hartley won the midseason tournament with a 29 to highlight results from the Blueberry Hill Golf Club Monday Senior League.
Closest-to-the-pin honors went to the American Legion team of Ted Eldridge, Bob Caldwell, Mark Borger and Don Anderson, 18 inches on No. 3; and the Jones Chevrolet team of Gene Covell Tom Radecki, John Backstrom and Bryan Moldovan had the longest putt on No. 9 (193.5 inches).

Margie Cerra’s 42 led the A Flight of the Ladies League at Jackson Valley Golf Course.
Mary Beth Whiting shot a net 32 and Cerra hit 13 putts.
In the B Flight, Amanda Anderson fired a scratch 52 and Cindy Munksgard had a net 33. Debbie Bialas hit 16 putts.
Donna McDonald’s 58 led the C Flight and Leigh Unen had a net 32. Lisa Irwin hit 17 putts.
The D Flight was led by Cindy Schumann’s 62 and Katie Penley’s net 32. Mary Ann Wilcox hit 18 putts.

Rob Ritchie’s 32 led the front nine and Shane Flannery’s 37 led the back nine as the Tuesday Night League started the second half of its season at Jackson Valley Golf Course.
For the seniors, Bill Manning’s 40 led the front nine and Terry English’s 38 led the back nine.
Net scoring leaders were Trevor Knotts (30) on the front nine, Jim Sturdevant (32) on the back nine Ed Streich (33) for seniors on the front nine and John Weber (33) for seniors on the back nine.
Kihm Carlson and Joe Muscaro each had 8.5 points while Eric Fisher, Bill Turner and Streich each had 8.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Sharon Birtcil, Margie Cerra and Barb Hill shot matching 47s to lead the A Flight of the Ladies League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.
Terry Larson had a net 36. Larson’s 50 was good for second lowest scratch score while Cerra and Cindy Paulmier had net 37s. The weekly tournament was even holes, which Cerra led with a 16. Barb Hill was second with an 18.
In the B Flight, Danell Sowers had a scratch 49 while Lori Eaton, Mary Mackey and Sowers had matching net 34s. Eaton and Mackey had scratch 50s while Jackie Saber had a net 35. Sowers led the tournament with a 17 and Saber had an 18.
In the C Flight, Darcy Marek had a scratch 48 and a net 31. Veronica Andersen and Jill Dart had scratch 49s and net 32s along with Patti Larson. Marek’s 17 led the tournament while Dart and Bev Eldridge had 18s.
Sue Papalia’s scratch 51 and net 28 led the D Flight. Terry Borger had a scratch 52 while shooting matching net 31s with Tricia Kubas. Amy Morrison, Sue Shields, Papalia and Kubas had 19s to lead the tournament while Martha Betts had a 20.
Young Hui Waite led the E Flight with a scratch 52, a net 27 and an 18 in the tournament. Kathy Blackman had a scratch 58 and Cheryl Clark had a net 30. Blackman, Nancy Monaghan and Melissa Schrader had 21s in the tournament.
Cheryl Reagle’s 59 led the F Flight while Crystal Howe had a 60. Howe and Reagle shot matching net 28s while Lynne Rulander and Laura Whitten had net 30s. Betty McPherson led the tournament with a 20 while Dot Bero, Howe and Jessica Rex had 21s.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Todd Sedon and Pat Hultquist shot scratch 41s to lead the Thursday Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.
Jamie Mohney’s 33 led the net scores.
Jeff Irwan made an eagle while birdies were converted by Pat Hultquist, Bill Petransky and Al Schumann.
Ralph-E’s Pub, comprised of Larry Brown, Randy Christensen, Rich Zydonik and Clifford Jenkins, won the first-half title.
