St. Marys was crowned the champion during the inaugural 9th-10th grade 7-on-7 football tournament Saturday at War Memorial Field and Beaty Middle School.

Warren, Eisenhower, Hollidaysburg, Titusville, Corry, St. Marys and Bradford participated in the tournament.

Poor weather plagued the tournament with the teams playing four or five of their six scheduled games.

St. Marys finished 3-1-1 and Warren was 2-1-1. Hollidaysburg, Bradford and Eisenhower were all 2-2. Corry went 2-3 and Titusville went 1-3.

Warren beat Eisenhower 19-15 and Titusville 22-0, tied St. Marys 11-11 and lost to Corry 17-6.

In addition to its loss to Warren, Eisenhower beat Bradford and Titusville by identical 18-8 scores and lost to Corry 15-2.
