Trap leagues
The first half of the Warren County Trap League wrapped up this week with Brokenstraw outshooting Tidioute 340-336, Pine Grove topping Sheffield 340-329, Corry getting by Sugar Grove II 338-336 and Sugar Grove I downing Kalbfus 329-321.
Perfect 50s were shot by Jerry Martin, Ken Berkhous and Derrick Albers — his first 50 straight.
Tidioute won first-half honors with a 6-1 record. Corry and Pine Grove tied for seond at 5-2. They will have a shoot-off Tuesday at Sheffield.
Pine Grove’s Robin Miller was High Lady with a 43. Albers’ 50 earned him High Junior for Corry. Tucker Lindell’s 43 for Sugar Grove II was good for High Sub Junior. Martin’s 50 for Pine Grove was good for High Veteran. Pine Grove’s Ray Lee was High Sr. Veteran with a 49. Pine Grove’s Dean Anderson and Russ Wingard tied Sugar Grove I’s Jim Hannon for High Super Sr. Veteran with 48s.
