Hidden angels Dear Editor, Recently I went to Dollar General in Market Street Plaza. I picked up a coffee mug, which will be a Christmas gift! I went to the cashier and forgot my money in the car. Inconsistency at pump? Dear Editor, Wondering if anyone has an explanation on why our gasoline prices are so expensive? This weekend my daughter traveled from Pittsburgh to Russell. She purchased gasoline in Warren at $4.16 per gallon. She purchased gasoline in Slippery Rock for $ 3.18 per gallon. I have heard that we have higher prices because of Pa. taxes but, Slippery Rock is in the same state — 98 cents per gallon is an unbelievable difference.
