Hidden angels

Dear Editor,

Recently I went to Dollar General in Market Street Plaza. I picked up a coffee mug, which will be a Christmas gift! I went to the cashier and forgot my money in the car. I immediately went out to get it! And a woman already had paid for it. I returned and saw her sitting in her car and told her I would pay it forward!

The other day, I went to CVS to get Mucinex. I wore my mask and have been vaccinated! I had a severe case of the flu, but definitely needed the medicine! I went to use my debit card and provided my driver’s license knowing I had money in my account. It would not work. This great technology age is ridiculous. Cashiers helped, but to no avail. Finally I said forget it. I needed the medicine.

I went to Tops Grocery Store and got the same exact box. I went through the self-checkout and repeated the same process, used the debit card with chip and driver’s license and still no progress. A cashier repeated the process a few times. Unbelievable – it still didn’t work!

I told her I was sorry and couldn’t get it. I proceeded to go to my car. Upon arriving, the cashier yelled at me and said a woman paid for it. And gave me the medicine. If she reads this, thank you! You will never know how much that meant to me! That was a definite God wink.

There are so many bad things in the world! The worst I have ever known! But yet there are kind and generous people living here! Words cannot express my appreciation! If you are out there, please let me know what charity I can donate to because of you.

On a final note, I will go back to using currency.

Living in past

Dear Editor,

Well, Donald Trump is at it again. A sick dog with a child’s brain. The same ole story. Taking credit for many things he had nothing to do with. And on top of it, not making sense. Trump is living in the past. If you live in the past, you die in the past.

I could not finish watching him. I was throwing up.

Seeking the truth

Dear Editor,

No wonder the Democrats are getting nervous about Elon Musk’s recent ownership of Twitter. He is for non-censorship, and the devious underhanded collusion at Twitter showing the Dem’s suppression of Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020 is coming to light.

Facts are being revealed; Donald Trump appears to be right – a stolen election? Will he eventually be vindicated?

All this from the party who wanted to save democracy in the election. They who lie and hide the truth from the masses through all forms of media. Their definition of democracy needs a revision; also, they need a makeover in caring for the welfare of this country i.e. the open border. The border is one of many things they have done and are doing to drive this country to its knees both here and abroad.

The Bible teaches that the love of money is the root of all evil (1st Tim 6:10). The Dems have deep pockets and the “love” of money and power is driving our government into suppressing anyone that disagrees with their politics. They are turning us into a third world-police state. The U.S. is looking more like some of the countries we defeated in the last century, places with tyrants who craved ultimate power and control over the masses! Hopefully, we will continue to learn the truth, to expose the fraudulent leaders that are bent on our destruction, letting the chips fall where they may.

Where’s the outcry?

Dear Editor,

It’s not surprising that Mr. super-ego, Donald J. Trump wants to destroy our democracy by renouncing our Constitution for his personal benefit. I do not take that threat as insignificant.

What is equally disturbing is that local, state and federal elected representatives are silent in condemnation. Evidently, their lack of political integrity, coupled with suspected castration, prevents them from challenging Trump’s desire to denounce the constitutional democracy we cherish.

Both political parties are guilty! The outcry should shake the land we stand on, but there is not a whisper to be heard. Perhaps an editorial comment in the Times Observer is warranted for the sake of our freedom and nation when silence needs a voice.
