YOUNGSVILLE – Members of Youngsville Area Girl Scouts Troop 46834 recently visited the Youngsville Police Department for a talk on leadership, police work and public safety. The group took part in a question-and-answer session with Todd Mineweaser, Youngsville police chief, with those who answered correctly winning a prize. They then saw Patrolman Richard Alekson show a preliminary breath test device that is used to help police officers determine if someone is driving under the influence or drinking underage.

Alekson then showed the group the patrol room, patrol cars and the back seat prisoner transport area.

Starting at $3.50/week.
