Kinzua Federal Credit Union breaks ground at new location

Kinzua Federal Credit Union has two locations: 115 Main St. in Tidioute and the Warren branch, currently located on the second floor of the Warr-Penn building at 213 W. Third Ave.

On Thursday, a ceremonial groundbreaking at the site of what will be its new North Warren branch location — a stand-alone building with a drive-through and an ATM on Market Street Extension.

While construction will not start for a week or so, the ceremony brings the credit union one step closer to realizing its longtime search for a new location. “We are excited to be in a place that will be more easily accessible to our members,” said Amanda Stover, Kinzua FCU assistant manager.

Chief Executive Officer Amy Lyon added, “We were patient in finding the right space. We look forward to serving our current members and others in our community in this new space.”

Once known as NFO Irvine Credit Union, it was initially established to serve National Forge employees. Kinzua FCU now extends its services to anyone residing, working, worshiping, or studying in Forest and Warren Counties.

Member services will continue at its locations in Warren and Tidioute while the project is in construction.
