A woman was sentenced Friday for her seventh overall DUI.
Rebecca R. Hoffman, 63, of Warren, was sentenced by Judge Gregory Hammond, who stated that she needs to keep on top of her sobriety so she doesn’t string together DUIs as she has in the past.
He noted that her most recent conviction was in 2004.
The penalties for DUI are largely based on the number of offenses in a 10-year period, regardless of the total number of offenses.
She was sentenced to six months restrictive probation including 72 hours incarceration, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, 15 hours of community service, a 12 month license suspension, to comply with drug and alcohol treatment recommendations, $2,125 in fines and fees and $2,737 in restitution to PennDOT for the costs of repairing a guide rail as well as $70 on a count of careless driving.
