A New York man under restrictions as a sexual offender has been arrested and charged for not updating his information.

Adam C. Fox, 46, of Jamestown was charged with a felony count of failure to comply with registry requirements. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Youngsville Borough Police officers learned that Fox was no longer living in Youngsville, the address listed on the registry.

Police said Fox had 72 hours from the time he moved to update his address.

According to the affidavit, police learned that Fox was living in Jamestown. He was found on Friday in Warren County and arrested by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies on a felony arrest warrant.

Fox was arraigned before District Judge Raymond Zydonik and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.
