Tidioute Community Charter School is shifting from enrichment to planned instruction. Chief Educational Officer Dr. Doug Allen told the Times Observer that the plan is to make the switch on April 20. Tidioute Borough extends emergency proclamation

Tidioute Borough Council met on Tuesday, March 24, and has extended the Mayor’s Emergency Proclamation, with a Declaration of a Disaster Emergency for the Borough of Tidioute. Borough Council has also cancelled the April council meeting, scheduled for April 13. These actions are being taken as an abundance of caution as cases of COVID-19 move closer to the area. With the spread and potential situations that could arise from the COVID-19 pandemic, Tidioute Borough Mayor Pam McLaughlin has issued a Proclamation of a State of Emergency for the Borough of Tidioute. Tidioute Charter School provides grab n go meals

Tidioute Community Charter School will be a grab-and-go location for its students. The school, like every other public school, brick-and-mortar charter school, and cyber charter school in the state, was closed for two weeks by order of Gov. Tom Wolf. Effective this week, TCCS will distribute bagged meals for its eligible students. Pick-up times are 10 (breakfast) and 11:30 a.m. (lunch).
