Tidioute Borough extends emergency proclamation

Tidioute Borough Council met on Tuesday, March 24, and has extended the Mayor’s Emergency Proclamation, with a Declaration of a Disaster Emergency for the Borough of Tidioute.

Borough Council has also cancelled the April council meeting, scheduled for April 13.

These actions are being taken as an abundance of caution as cases of COVID-19 move closer to the area. Tidioute Borough Emergency Management has also closed public parks within Tidioute Borough until further notice.

The Tidioute Borough office remains closed to the public. Call (814) 484-7424 for borough business; you may have to leave a message.

Payments may be made at www.tidioute.org or in the drop box at the borough office.

Borough Council would like to remind residents to practice social distancing and other practices recommended by the PA Dept of Health.
