In October, Titusville Area Hospital announced that it would open the Tidioute Health Center at 115 Main Street, Tidioute, on Jan. 7.

On Wednesday, the hospital announced that the health center opened on schedule.

“Titusville Area Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of Tidioute Health Center,” Associate Vice President of Operations Holli Wolfe said in the Wednesday release. “The clinic will provide care for all ages and is affiliated with the Tionesta Health Center and Oil Valley Medical Group (Oil Valley Internal Medicine and Oak Street Pediatrics).”

“We have had the pleasure of working collaboratively with the Tidioute Area Health & Dental Center, Inc. (TAHDC) Board of Directors for several months,” Titusville Area Hospital CEO Lee Clinton said. “I am pleased to be able to provide healthcare services to the Tidioute community.”

Tidioute Health Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Board certified Physician Assistant Lara Johnson, PA-C, is the healthcare provider, Wolfe said. Johnson is also the provider at Tionesta Health Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Patients of the Tidioute office can be seen at both the Tidioute and Tionesta locations.

Appointments are preferred and may be made by calling (814) 484-3096. Walk-in patients are welcome and will be examined as the schedule permits. Lab draws are available at the Tidioute office from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Most insurances including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurances are accepted. Patients that do not have insurance or have a limited income, may qualify for free or discounted care through the financial assistance program at Titusville Area Hospital.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 2 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tidioute Health Center, Wolfe said. The first thirty guests will receive a free t-shirt. Everyone in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Visa gift card.
