Winterfest planning The Warren County Winterfest executive committee will hold a planning meeting at the Chapman State Park Environmental Learning Center (the old park office) at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 8. Winterfest 2020 is planned for Jan. 17-19. All organizations and individuals who plan to be involved in activities should attend, including anyone who may be interested in volunteering for the first time. Those who are interested but cannot attend are asked to contact Ed Atwood at 726-2774 or Wes Ramsey at 726-1441, ext. 5.

CCC reunion The 12th Annual “Allegheny Picnic” Reunion celebrating the 86th Anniversary of the Civilian Conservation Corps will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 16, with a brief ceremony honoring our departed CCC boys at the Worker Statue at Warren County Visitors Bureau located on Highway 6/62 just west of Warren. A picnic luncheon will follow at Chapman State Park’s Pavilion #2, approximately five miles from Clarendon.
