Art show applications due The annual Art in the Wilds show is looking for quality fine art and fine craft, and eligible artists and artisans are invited to apply. The 2022 event will be Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, and the show goes on rain or shine in the shade of Evergreen Park in Kane, Pa. The applications will all go to a panel of jurors on March 1. Applications that showcase the best creative work in our region are especially sought and the committee works to provide a variety of media. Class of 1953 to meet The Warren High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 1:00 on Wednesday, Feb. 9. at the Eagles Club. AOC to hike The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ski or hike the Morrison ski trail on Sunday, Feb. 6. Spaghetti dinner is Feb. 28 The Eagles Club of Warren will host a spaghetti dinner to benefit the Warren County Veterans Emergency Fund from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28. Dinners include spaghetti and meatballs, a side salad, desserts, and a beverage. Tickets are $10 and are available at the Warren County Veterans Affairs Office at Warren County Courthouse, Rusted Nutz Garage, Cabin in the Pines, and the Warren Eagles Club. Philomel meets The Philomel Club of Warren braved the snowy weather to enjoy its January musical program at the Woman’s Club of Warren. Members enjoyed a diversity of musical performance. Christine Kuntz, pianist, opened the program with a tribute to the iconic American composer Stephen Sondheim who died in November 2021 at the age of 91. Deena Winters performed performed “Tocatta” by the distinguished neo-Classical American composer, Robert Muczynski, changing moods from Muczynski’s to the familiar Franz Schubert.
