Two guilty pleas entered during hearings

Two guilty pleas were entered while one defendant was held for court as a result of preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. The following defendants entered guilty pleas: Justin E. Mueller, 38, Warren, to theft. A count of receiving stolen property was withdrawn. Nicholas G. Reardon, 20, Warren, to disorderly conduct. A count of terroristic threats was withdrawn. William W. Birchard, 23, Warren, was held for court. Birchard has been charged with two counts of strangulation, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief.

A Warren woman will spend a minimum of nearly six years in state prison on a range of offenses from driving without a license, intent to deal methamphetamine and an assault with a baseball bat. Marcella K. Gigliotti, 56, was sentenced by President Judge Maureen Skerda Friday morning. It was stated when she entered her plea that Gigliotti struck a victim multiple times with a metal bat. Charges were withdrawn against two individuals while two were held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
