W. Warren County - District Judge Todd Woodin DUI. Michael J. Lasher, 24, Erie, Pa., was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Aug. 28 with DUI and three traffic violations from an incident that occurred on Aug. 6 in Southwest Twp. Pleasant Twp. Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police reported that a 55-year-old Pleasant Township woman gave personal information to a telemarketer on Aug. 14. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers. The investigation is pending.

Troopers investigating Sheffield Uni-Mart burglary

Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary at the Sheffield Uni-Mart. Troopers say in a statement that the incident occurred early Saturday morning. “Troopers discovered a young, white male had burglarized the store while wearing a black mask, black hoodie, white t-shirt, gray pants, blue gloves and black shoes,” the statement explains. The thief is believed to be 5’ 10” and 175 pounds. Troopers say he entered the store by breaking a window with a claw hammer at about 3:15 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-728-3600.

Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against three while three defendants were held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
