Sentences handed down in court Friday

The following sentences were handed down in county court Friday by President Judge Maureen Skerda.

William W. Birchard, 24, of Warren, to three months to 12 months incarceration, $1,175 in fines and fees, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations, a no contact/no trespass order, 50 hours of community service, submission of a DNA sample and anger management/healthy relationships programming on a count of simple assault as well as six months probation on a count of disorderly conduct and a $150 fine and $50 in restitution on a count of criminal mischief.

Sherry G. Burton, 58, of Warren, to a five year sentence including 30 days incarceration and 60 days house arrest, $2,600 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations, submission of a DNA sample, an 18 month license suspension and 45 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 for careless driving.

Aaron S. Hall, 33, Warren, of to a five year sentence including 30 days incarceration and 60 days house arrest, $2,575 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, an 18 month license suspension, 30 hours of community service, drug and alcohol treatment and submission of a DNA sample on a count of DUI as well as $70 for driving an unregistered vehicle.

John R. Heidt, 63, of Erie, Pa., to 11.5 months to 23 months incarceration with credit for 97 days time served, $1,275 in fines and fees and submission of a DNA sample on a count of accident involving death or injury; three to six months incarceration, $750 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school program, a 12 month license suspension and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 each on charges of driving at safe speed, disregard traffic lane and fail to stop and give information or render aid.

Clayton M. Hesch, 35, of Warren, to a six month sentence including 72 hours incarceration, $1,750 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, drug and alcohol treatment and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI and $70 for careless driving.

Arthur Khurshudyan, 58, of Erie, Pa., to six to 12 months incarceration and a $2,500 fine on a count of driving on a DUI-related suspended license, $345 for operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility and 12 to 24 months incarceration, $1,675 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, an 18 month license suspension, 60 hours of community service, submission of a DNA sample and drug and alcohol treatment on a count of DUI.

Jacob A. Knisley, 22, of Clarendon to charges at three dockets. He was sentenced to 30 days incarceration, fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, 15 hours of community service and credit for 30 days time served on a count of DUI and $70 for restrictions on alcoholic beverages; a five year sentence including 30 days incarceration and 30 days house arrest, $2,275 in fines and fees, an 18 month license suspension and submission of a DNA sample on a count of DUI as well as 60 days, $545 in fines and fees and a 12 month license suspension on driving while BAC .02+ while license suspended and $300 for removal of registration place and $345 for operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility; one year probation, a no contact order and 50 hours of community service for recklessly endangering another person, $145 and a three month license suspension for vehicle registration suspended, a five year sentence including 30 days incarceration and 30 days house arrest with credit for 30 days time served, $2,575 in fines and fees, an 18 month license suspension, 30 hours of community service and drug and alcohol treatment on a count of DUI, 60 days incarceration, $45 in fees, a 12 month license suspension and credit for 22 days time served for driving on a DUI-suspended license and $70 for careless driving.

Evan V. Melton, 20, of Sugar Grove, to a two year sentence including 60 days house arrest, $306.25 in restitution, $950 in fines and fees, 70 hours of community service, submission of a DNA sample and participation in the COG program on a count of theft by unlawful taking.

Gavin T. Mohr, 19, of Warren, to one year probation, $1,675 in fines and fees, a no contact/no trespass order, 40 hours of community service and submission of a DNA sample on a count of corruption of minors.

Joseph A. Passaro, 31, of Warren, to 30 days to six months incarceration, $470.86 in restitution, $1,975 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, 15 hours of community service and drug and alcohol treatment on a count of DUI as well as a $300 fine for accident involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property.

George E. Stoddard, 56, of Ripley, N.Y., to a six month sentence including 72 hours incarceration, $1,325 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 for disregarding a traffic lane.

Natalie R. Wagner, 45, of Warren, to one year probation, $1,575 in fines and fees, submission of a DNA sample and an anger management evaluation on a count of simple assault.
