Charges withdrawn during preliminary hearings
Charges were withdrawn against three defendants during preliminary hearings held this week at the Warren County Courthouse.
¯ Jayme L. Brown, 26, Warren. Brown had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ Douglas L. Haight, 29, Clarendon. Haight had been charged with strangulation and simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ Robert W. Turk, 56, Sheffield. Turk had been charged with theft by deception. A count of conspiracy (retail theft) was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
