C. Warren County — District Judge Raymond Zydonik

DUI. David Lane, 48, Youngsville, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police with two counts of DUI, careless driving and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility from an incident that occurred on April 24 in the City of Warren.

Possession. Gregg G. Hulings, 45, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on July 15 with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, disregard traffic lane and pass when prohibited from an incident that occurred on July 6 in the CIty of Warren.

Simple assault. Sierra B. Gazdak, 26, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on July 15 with simple assault, two counts of harassment and disorderly conduct from an incident that occurred on July 15 in the City of Warren.

Simple assault. Peggy S. Haines, 54, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on July 12 with simple assault and harassment from an incident that occurred on July 12 in the City of Warren.

W. Warren County — District Judge Todd Woodin

DUI. Lindsey E. Saltsman, 18, Spring Creek, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 16 with two counts of DUI, careless driving, reckless driving, prohibiting text-based communications, fail to keep right, disregard traffic lane, fail to carry registration and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility from an incident that occurred on May 2 in Pittsfield Township.

DUI. Preston E. Cottrell, 65, Youngsville, was charged by Youngsville Borough police on July 13 with DUI and driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked from an incident that occurred on July 2 in Youngsville.

DUI. John E. Armstrong, Jr., 32, Pittsfield, was charged by Youngsville Borough police on July 13 with four counts of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property from an incident that occurred on May 18 in Youngsville.

N. Warren County — District Judge Laura Bauer

Simple assault. Loretta A. Esh, 26, Warren, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 16 with simple assault and harassment from an incident that occurred on June 26 in Conewago Twp.

Possession. Braedon Franklin, 18, Jamestown, NY, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 16 with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on June 24 in Sugar Grove Borough.

DUI. Pamela M. Paxton, 43, Jamestown, N.Y., was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 16 with endangering the welfare of children, two counts of DUI, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, fail to carry registration, careless driving, reckless driving, fail to use safety belt and disregard traffic lane from an incident that occurred on June 26 in Pine Grove Twp.

Possession. Gary L. Hanson, II, 31, Clarendon, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 15 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on April 23 in Clarendon Borough.

Glade Township

Identity theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report that a Warren man reported to police on July 13 that someone applied for unemployment benefits using his identity. The case is currently under investigation.

Warren County

Warrant arrest. Robert Sanders, 38, Sugar Grove, was arrested by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies on July 15 at 2 p.m. on a supervisor’s warrant for probation violations. He was placed in the county jail pending further court action.

Warrant arrest. Adam L. Matie, 23, Sugar Grove, was arrested by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies on July 15 at 1 p.m. while entering the Warren County Courthouse on a supervisor’s warrant from the Probation Department. Matie was placed in the county jail pending further court action.

Brokenstraw Township

Criminal mischief. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police reported that the tires on a vehicle belonging to a Youngsville woman were cut overnight. The vehicle was located on Carriage Dr. Anyone with information in this pending investigation is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Elk Township

Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of theft on Grannis Rd. Four individuals at a work site reported approximately $1,300 worth of equipment stolen between July 1 and July 12 including STIHL chainsaws, Dewalt tools, Pittsburgh tools, a Champion generator, grease guns, ratchets, a yellow Ashen sleeping bag, Husqvarna hard hats, protective chaps, gas tanks and numerous other tools. Police say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact state police.
