The Warren Antique Study Club recently met and heard from Ruth Barnes Shaw who presented a program entitled “Victoria’s Got a Secret,” which included art, fashion and textile history. Members were able to view ladies’ antique undergarments through the ages. Vintage lingerie of slips, robes and stockings as well as corsets and other foundation garments were viewed and compared with the lingerie of the present day. The club’s next meeting will be Feb. 26 at 1:15 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Warren and will focus on Fostoria Crystal.
