Jennifer Minski from Fifth Avenue Cake Works will be at the ACC on Jan. 4 and Jan. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to instruct on cake decoration. Reservations are required and just 10 spots are available. The next phase of the project will be partnering with someone else to craft a creation for a TBA cake auction. Anyone participating in the auction, will receive the tools provided as a “thank you” for participating. Proceeds will go to benefit the ACC. The cake that brings in the most money will receive a trophy and gift cards.

The ACC is looking for a volunteer receptionist and a few backups. Volunteers are also needed in the kitchen, as art class teachers and at each of the county’s senior centers. Call your local center to see what opportunities are available.

All centers will be closed Nov. 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving and Dec. 26 and 27 for Christmas.
