Bocce to hold

picnic

The Warren Bocce Club is holding its annual picnic Monday at 2 p.m. at the Betts Park bocce pavilion. The event is open to both members and the public who are interested in playing bocce. Bring a dish to share as well as your own drinks and tableware.

Street closures

Pine Grove Days will necessitate several street closures in Russell on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. including North Main Street from Liberty Street to State Street and East Street from Pine Street to Conewango Street. South Main Street beginning at Woodland Drive to Liberty Street will be limited to one-lane from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be closed to through traffic from 10:30a.m. to noon. Motorists are advised to watch for increased pedestrians in this area.
