Photo submitted to Times Oberver The Jefferson DeFrees Family Center hosted a children’s fair on Saturday, April 21. About 200 people attended the fair, with games, activities, booths, agencies dealing with young children, Elmo (sponsored by PNC Bank), and a bike rodeo (sponsored by the Warren Cycle Shop).

Bible Club meeting

The annual meeting of the Warren County Bible Club will be held on Monday, May 7, at 6 p.m. at the Cable Hollow Church at 3157 Cable Hollow Road, Russell. Guest speaker will be Mark Hoyle, BCM, executive director of USA Ministries. All are welcome.

Class to lunch

Warren High School class of 1951 will meet at Double D’s in Garland at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 9.

Christian Women to meet

The Warren Christian Women invite you to its “Mothers Day” luncheon on Tuesday, May 8 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark Street in Warren. The cost of the luncheon is $9 and includes: Christine Rossler of Russell on “doing sea glas jewlery”; speaker Pat Petersen of Buffalo, N.Y. with a presentation entitled “he was there all the time, living her own way – the lord found her and she found a new way”; and music by Virginia Lozeaux.
