Kiwanis 4-H presentation

The Kiwanis Club of Warren will host county 4-H’ers at the 29th annual Kiwanis 4-H Presentations. On March 11, several 4-H members will present speeches at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center in Warren.  The presentations will begin at 10 a.m.  This is an excellent opportunity for Warren County 4-H members to organize their thoughts and share information that they have learned in their clubs or information that has great interest to them.  The Kiwanis 4-H Presentation is just one way that 4-H members learn how to become confident public speakers. The program will be a precursor for Pennsylvania 4-H Week March 12-18.

Interested 4-H members may pick up a public speaking guide to assist with developing their speech at the Warren County 4-H office in Youngsville. Members are encouraged to sign up by Monday, March 6 by contacting the Penn State Extension office in Warren County at (814) 563-9388.

If you would like to learn more about the Warren County 4-H program you can check us out on the web at http://extension.psu.edu/warren. The 4-H program is a youth development program of Penn State Extension.  It is open to all youth between the ages of 8 and 18, without regard to ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religious creed, sex, sexual orientation, or place of residence.
