Warren downs McDowell in volleyball

ERIE — The Warren girls volleyball team swept McDowell 25-22, 25-13, 25-18 on Tuesday. Hailey Cabisca had 17 kills and seven digs; Lara Pearson added nine kills; Maylsia Sorensen notched two aces and 11 digs; and Brynn Norris tallied 35 assists. Other statistical leaders for the Dragons were Attie Corey with eight kills and two blocks; and Addison Ristau added five digs and two aces. Similar to their offense, the Warren Dragon defense has a solid blend of veterans with plenty of talent. Sophomore linebacker Tucker Sanford is leading the Dragons with 68 tackles (8.5 per game) on the season, with senior duo Chris Orth and Noah Bleech combining for almost 100.
