Similar to their offense, the Warren Dragon defense has a solid blend of veterans with plenty of talent.
Sophomore linebacker Tucker Sanford is leading the Dragons with 68 tackles (8.5 per game) on the season, with senior duo Chris Orth and Noah Bleech combining for almost 100.
Also looking to make an impact on Friday are free safeties Cameron Hagg and Ayden Corbett, who have multiple interceptions and are hoping to halt any sort of air attack from the Knights. Nose tackle Alex Wilkins, Orth and defensive end Giovanni Larson have combined for 11 tackles for loss, and will try to use their size to thwart the ground game as best as they can.
Following are the Dragons' defensive starters: End -- Charlie Blum; Defensive Tackle -- senior Garrett Winship; Nose Tackle -- senior Alex Wilkins; Defensive End -- junior Giovanni Larson; Outside Linebacker -- senior Chris Orth; Linebacker -- senior Noah Bleech; Linebacker -- sophomore Tucker Sanford; Strong Safety -- junior Ayden Corbett; Cornerback -- sophomore Tilman Limpert; Cornerback -- junior Cameron Hagg; Free Safety -- sophomore Grant May.
