ERIE, Pa. – The Eisenhower cross country teams got their 2019 season underway at the McDowell Invitational at Brown’s Farm on Saturday. Sophomore Alex Hummel had a strong race for the boys in the 20-team field, finishing 47th with a time of 18:16, followed by teammates Tyson Morrison and Ethan Kellogg. Dragon golf takes step forward at Meadville megamatch

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Warren golfers took a step forward in the season’s second Region 6 megamatch with a fourth place team finish at the Country Club of Meadville Monday. Owen Blum finished in a tie for ninth while Drew Swanson and Selive Pearson tied for 10th to lead the way for the Dragons. Erie Cathedral Prep again took team honors, while Meadville’s Ryan Ferry shot a 75 to come away with the top individual finish. The Warren girls tennis team served up its first win of the season, 4-1, over Conneaut at Betts Park Friday. The Dragons went 2-1 in singles matches and swept the doubles action. Several Dragons picked up their first wins of the season as well. FAIRVIEW, Pa. – The 2019 Warren Dragons showed they’ll be just as, if not more, explosive as the 2018 version in a 41-24 win at Fairview Friday. Quarterback Micah Passmore broke two big touchdown runs and Ryan Arnold had three big returns, one an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the win.
