Masking the issue Dear Editor, Why is it that the Democrats want to de-mask the ICE agents? Maybe it is because they want their identity to be known so that their lives and family members’ lives can be threatened and possibly murdered. Maybe it is because they do not want the agents to be doing their jobs of deporting the illegal alien voters. Or maybe it is just as simple as the Dems are jealous of the masks that the agents are wearing due to the fact that these masks are serving a legitimate purpose unlike the paper masks that they forced on us during the COVID years. Failing Democrats Dear Editor, The most recent polls, showing that the American people are not wholly satisfied with the performance so far of President Donald Trump and the Republican Congress, are not surprising. It would be impossible even for Jesus Christ Himself to gain the acceptance of the Democrat Party, their media propaganda machine and their brainwashed voters, if He was a Republican. If anything is surprising, it is the reported fact that the aggregate rate of Americans’ approval of the Democrat Party is less than one in three, the lowest since 1990. Little wonder, ...

Magnet for critics Dear Editor, The United Kingdom -based Guardian featured a column entitled “Iran Danger is Far From Over.” The author is afflicted with “Trump Derangement Syndrome” citing President Donald Trump’s “magnetic attraction to whatever looks like it might bring glory” and “Trump’s illegal attack on Iran”. It’s amazing ...

Going again to the wells Dear Editor, The recent Times Observer editorial on orphaned oil and gas wells unfairly blames today’s conventional oil and gas operators — many of which live and work in Warren County. Most of Pennsylvania’s estimated 200,000-plus orphaned wells were drilled long before modern regulations existed. The 200,000-plus orphaned wells are the responsibility of a bygone era, not today’s operators who work under strict state oversight, bonding requirements, and reporting rules. In fact, PA’s modern conventional oil and gas industry has plugged tens of ...

Get organized Dear Editor, It’s unfortunate that our Democratic country has a “Mafia”-like boss in Washington, D.C., along with a bunch who have fallen in line with the boss. Either they complied or faced a “hit “man. Their recent vote to confirm that Big Beautiful Bill is sufficient proof that their allegiance to the boss supplants their support to our nation and their constituents. The Boss has blackmailed certain university presidents, law firms and elected officials into submission. At the same time his wealthy supporters will benefit at the expense of you and I ...

A need to speak up Dear Editor, I wanted to share this with readers. “First They Came,” by Pastor Martin Niemoller Written after the Holocaust First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews But I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak for me. Open ...
