Trump backed off after a sufficient number of Republican legislators joined the Democratic legislators demanding the release of the Epstein files. Dear Editor, Numerous “progressives,” in print or speech, continue dedication to hypocrisy. It”s obvious as they label President Trump an “oligarch” or a “pathological liar." Name for the ages

Dear Editor, I used DuckDuckGo to search for the first settler of Warren, in reference to a recent Our Opinion piece regarding the bridge in the Times Observer. Philip McCoy established the first trading post in the area now known as Warren in 1795. He played a significant role in the establishment of the early settlement. I haven’t researched it completely yet, but I imagine that his trading post was on the banks of the Conewango or Allegheny or at their convergence. Praise for process Dear Editor, Thank you to the reassessment board members. I was one of the few Warren County residents who accepted that the reassessment would raise my taxes. We moved here from Lakewood in 2018 where my property taxes were more than three times what we pay in Warren County on a comparable home value.
