Chapel service set at state park Chapman State Park will host a non-demoninational chapel service in the amphitheater at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9. In case of rain the service will move to Pavilion 4. State park to host two events Chapman State Park will be hosting two events on Saturday, July 25. From 4-5 p.m. participants can attend Bat Box Building, where they will learn about the decline of Pennsylvania’s bat population. Materials will be provided for making bat boxes, which are used to improve bat habitats in the area. This program will follow all of the procedures passed in the board of directors reopening plan. The program will run every Wednesday from July 22 through Aug. 19.
