summer drama/music enrichment

program

The Forest Area School District will be offering a summer drama/music enrichment program. This program will follow all of the procedures passed in the board of directors reopening plan. The program will run every Wednesday from July 22 through Aug. 19. Mrs. Beatty and Mr. Wortman will be at West Forest from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and then East Forest from noon until 1:30 p.m. To register, call the Central Office at 814-755-4491. There will be four weeks of rehearsal and then a video of student work compiled during the fifth and final week. Please reach out to Mr. Wortman or Mrs. Beatty with any questions or concerns.

Wenzel Reunion canceled

The 109th Wenzel Reunion has been canceled due to COVID-19. The family’s next reunion will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Pleasant Days

The 25th annual Pleasant Days will bring sales and barbecue to the community on Saturday, Aug. 1. There will be sales throughout Pleasant Township from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will also be an open house at the Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department with chicken barbecue available from 11 a.m. until sold out.
