WCCS varsity volleyball played an away match at CCSI and won the match easily in three sets, 25-11, 25-6, and 25-10. CCSI has essentially a new team this year, only two returning players from last year, a young team that has a lot of potential, but their lack of experience was quickly exposed by their inability to return WCCS serves. Warren County Christian School’s Lady Lions came up just short of forcing a decisive fifth set, dropping a four set home match to Meadville Calvary Baptist on Friday. Representatives from more than 150 public schools attended the PIAA Equity Summit Tuesday in State College, and they sent a strong message to the PIAA board of directors.
