RIMERSBURG – A slow start, coupled with the scoring of Lucas Bowser proved to be too much for the Tidioute Bulldogs to overcome in a 58-42 setback on Monday. ERIE – Tidioute traveled to Erie on Thursday and came up just short in a battle against Erie First Christian, 41-38. The Lady Bulldogs came out of the gate strong, jumping out to a halftime lead. “The girls played a solid first half despite poor rebounding and led 27-16,” said Tidioute coach Christy Valentine. “Going into the second half the girls let their offense get sloppy and were not patient. Playing for the first time in 19 days, Tidioute outscored VisionQuest 25-9 in the second half en route to a 49-38 victory. HARBOR CREEK – A grueling schedule continued for the Warren Lady Dragons on Friday, and they just ran out of steam on the road at Harbor Creek. Warren trailed just 23-22 early in the third quarter, but Harbor Creek rattled off 31 of the game’s final 33 points en route to a 54-24 Region 6 win. “We just ran out of gas,” said Warren coach Lisa LaVan.
