The Warren County Sports Hall of Fame will be closing for nominations on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.

If one believes an athlete, coach or organization is deserving of being in the WCSHOF, he needs to nominate them by that date. Nominations can be filled out via the form provided, or by visiting the link on the “Warren County Sports Hall of Fame” Facebook page There is also an online way to nominate using the link: https://forms.gle/R7TC5Bjxp3g8WFzHA. The process to be inducted into the WCHOF has two steps. The first is the nomination/getting onto the voting ballot via a vote from the board of directors. The second step is the voting membership drive in which anybody can become a voting member of the WCSHOF. For a fee of $10, a value that has not changed since 1993, one can vote for who he believes is the most deserving. The membership fee pays for the banquet ceremony and awards.

“We are proud to represent the rich sports history of Warren County,” WCSHOF director Nate Sandberg said. “This will be the 15th induction class of the WCSHOF, dating back to 1993. Our goal and purpose is to preserve the 100-plus years of sports throughout the county, and the public’s nominations are crucial to this.”

The WCSHOF is anticipating an early November 2026 induction ceremony.
