The Warren girls volleyball team will enter familiar territory today when it will try to win its second District 10 championship in the last three years.

The Dragons will play against district rival Fort LeBoeuf, which is the second seed in AAA. This will also be Warren’s third trip in a row to the finals as it will try to avenge the 2024 title loss to Meadville.

“We’ve seen (Fort LeBoeuf) multiple times (this season),” Dragons head coach Mike Dolan said. “They’re very athletic and a solid team. We continue working on serving tough and focusing on playing strong defensively both at the net and covering off-speed shots. They have a number of good hitters, so staying prepared for everything in the back row is key, as well as getting well-formed blocks up. Ball control will be key to us running our offense effectively as well.”

If the Dragons prevail, this would be the third district title for Dolan (2018, 2023). The highly anticipated championship match is slated for a 7:15 p.m. start and is to be played at the Hagerty Family Events Center in Erie.

Starting at $4.00/week.
