Warren Area High School’s track and field teams will send more than 30 qualifiers to today’s District 10 3A Track and Field Championships at Slippery Rock University.

“… Which is a little over a third of our team,” said Warren head coach Kevin Dustin. “We are incredibly proud to be bringing such a large squad to compete at the D10 championships. This really goes to show how hard work and dedication can pay off. We have some pretty lofty goals set for ourselves as we enter the meet. We want to see some kids earn their way to the PIAA state championships next week by winning their event or hitting a state-qualifying standard. Outside of that, we hope to bring home as many medals as possible by finishing toward the top in every event. The goal of this program is to be constantly moving forward and up and try to outperform the previous year. Our coaches do a great job of getting these kids ready to compete at their best, and the kids are set to give it their all. We are very excited to see how everyone does. Go Dragons!”
