RUSSELL — Gary VanGuilder recorded the low gross (40), the low net (29), the most points (9.5) and was one of four golfers with the most pars (five) to lead the first week of the Cable Hollow Senior Men’s League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Don Moore collected three birdies, Mark Wilson had two, and Greg Grimm, Mike Cole and Ralph Keniston tied VanGuilder with the most pars (five).

Dick Merenick, Jamie Mohney and Jeff McClement all shot a 41 for low gross, and Dick Jones and John Backstrom both had a 33 for low net to pace the Blueberry Monday Senior League.
Mohney also recorded an eagle, and Jones, Bob Caldwell and Mike Hawley each had a birdie.
