RUSSELL — The Eisenhower Knights honored their seniors last night with a 2-0 Region 4 win over the Corry Beavers.

The Knights were dominant from start to finish as they had 28 shots on goal, while they limited Corry to just nine shots on goal.

Eisenhower senior Logan Degnan once again scored both of the Knights’ goals.

Degnan connected on his first goal at the 23:48 mark of the first half on a pass from sophomore Aiden Stitler to give the Knights a 1-0 lead, which would hold until halftime.

Eisenhower kept the ball on the Corry end of the field and continued to attack the Corry net, but was unable to score until Stitler once again sent a pass to Degnan, who sent a laser shot into the left side of the net to make the score 2-0 at the 26-minute mark of the second half.

The Knights seniors who played their last home game of the season were Degnan, Drew Mandeville, David Abadie and Casey Seymour.

Eisenhower is back in action Wednesday when it travels to Saegertown for a 4 p.m. region game.

Starting at $3.50/week.
