Beaty tops Titusville 36-6

Beaty Warren Middle School recently defeated Titusville 36-6 in a junior high football game at Titusville.
After the Rockets ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, Beaty scored 36 unanswered points for the win.
In the first quarter, Tucker Sanford ran 32 yards for a touchdown and Collin Havers’ 2-point conversion tied the score at 8-8.
Eddie Abplanalp followed with an onside kick recovered by Clayton Hammberbeck.
Sanford scored Beaty’s second touchdown from 37 yards and added the conversion for a 16-8 halftime lead. Grant May’s interception helped keep Titusville off the board.
In the third quarter, Parker Kiser ran his interception back 60 yards for a Beaty touchdown.
Abplanalp again had an onside kick recovered, this time by Owen Damcott.
Kiser threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Abplanalp for a 28-8 lead, and Abplanalp then had a third onside kick recovered (Jeremiah Lyon).
In the fourth quarter, Beaty capped it off with Havers’ 5-yard TD run, and Kiser’s two-point conversion.
