Ike softball falls to Muskies

JAMESTOWN — The Eisenhower softball team took the long trip to face Jamestown on Monday, but the Knights could not keep pace with them as the Muskies scored in every inning en route to a 13-2 victory.

Eisenhower found itself down 9-0 before it could push two runs across the plate in the fourth inning. Kendra Danielson drove in both runs.

Jamestown added four more runs in the bottom of the fourth to put the game out of reach.

The Knights were led by senior Payton Frank who was 2-for-3. Samantha Childs went the distance in the circle and took the loss.

Eisenhower is back in action today when it welcomes Saegertown to Werner Park for a 4 p.m. game.
