Allegheny Outfitters captures title at The Goat Fort

After a brilliant season of climbing, the Warren Youth Climbing League came to a close last Monday night at The Goat Fort.
All five teams were vying for the season title, but only one would be crowned champion.
The Bent Run team climbed well, led by the likes of Ruth Sienkiewicz, Gabriella Bango, Bella Smith and Lily White, who scored 631, 689, 773 and 1,450, respectively. They tallied 5,409 during the finals, with a combined season score of 10,649 landing them in fifth place overall.
In fourth was Team Whirley with 6,345 during the finals and a combined season score of 11,231. They were led by Avery Woldt, Connor Ash, Nina Woldt and Owen Ash, who scored 721, 878, 962 and 1,202, respectively.
Team Kinzua Vet Clinic took full advantage of the finals, scoring 6,220 and finishing with a combined season score of 11,251 just edging out Team Whirley for third place. Joseph VerMilyea, Even Wellner, Marshall Harrington, Coleman Miller and Chase Long all had strong performances scoring 705, 755, 976, 998 and 1,310, respectively.

Slick Text capped a strong season with an excellent finals. They were able to secure a second-place finish with 6,642 during the finals and a combined season score of 12,068. Slick Text was led by Scarlett Wymer, Riley Littlefield, Alivia Glotz and Lane Morrison, who scored 715, 736, 1,180 and 1,310, respectively.
Team Allegheny Outfitters were the 2024 Warren Youth Climbing League champions. They dominated the season and finals were no exception.
They racked up 7,461 points for the evening and finished the season with a combined score of 13,756. They were led by Eloise Harrington, Razzlin Pratz, Elsie Woldt and Neola Harrington, who scored 897, 1,082, 1,180 and 1,310, respectively.
In addition to the team title, several individual athletes were recognized for their individual achievements. First-year climber Averi Ash was the league’s Most Improved Climber, Razzlin Pratz was the Rookie of the Year and Lily White was the league MVP.
