Kinzua SC shines at tourney

The Kinzua Soccer Club had three teams compete in a tournament at Elk County Catholic School in St. Mary’s last month. They were a 5th/6th grade all-girls team, a 5th/6th grade all-boys team called the Kinzua Kings, and a 7th/8th grade boys team called the Zesty Besties.
The Zesty Besties came up short in the final match 2-1. The Kinzua Kings earned second place in their division and went to the final, but also lost a close one, 3-2, in the final. The girls team earned third place, getting knocked out by the team which eventually won the tournament.
