Youth baseball

Mason Hastings collected three hits, James Alexander and Lauson Hoisington added two apiece, and Laine Jackson and Oliver Jesperson both had singles to lead North star Lodge No. 241 to a 15-3 victory over A&B Heating.

Alexander and Hoisington shared the pitching duties, striking out 15.

For A&B Heating, Owen Young had a couple of hits, Hunter Ingerson pitched well, and Ingerson, Landon Lutton and Tucker York all scored runs.

Dyke’s Garage upended Hillview Towing 10-1.

Cameron Briggs and Evan Wilcox each had two hits, and Haiden Nuhfer and Clayton Dyke added one apiece for the winners.

Curtis McGraw pitched well, Michael McElhaney reached base twice and Thomas Salter scored the lone run for Hillview Towing.

Youth softball

Winning pitcher Maggie Nansen smacked two doubles; Cara Johnson scored four runs; and Anna Hulings and Claire shined defensively to lead Calvert Pearson to a win over Experience Inc.

Maggie Nansen, Sadie Chase and Anna Hulings pitched Calvert Pearson to a 10-0 victory over Dahlstrom Roll Form in a Minor League game.

Harper Nester and Gwen Sabella turned in outstanding efforts behind the plate for the winners.

Braelyn Kent collected two hits for Dahlstrom Roll Form.

Bowling

Cody Vincent’s 227-667 paced the Rednutz Rolloff League at Valley Bowling Center.

Other series were Dale Johnson 274-655, Casey Vincent 259-642, Alex Johnson 212-605, Austin Fitzgerald 226-594, Alan Felmlee 225-594, Matt White 217-588 and Joe Letndre 194-570.

Golf leagues

Eagles Club leads the Jackson Valley Golf Course Tuesday Night League with 30 points after the first week.

Other team scores are Huey’s Place 29, Sons of the Legion 26.5, Mountain Laurel Credit Union 26 and Shaw House 26.

Dudley Nolling was the high points winner with 9 followed by Mike Hawley, Jeff Wilkinson and Jimmy Miller with 8.5 apiece.

Low-gross honors belonged to Gary Weber and Rob Ritchie with a 35 on the front nine; Justin Frederoski with a 42 on the back nine; senior Joe Saber with a 36 on the front nine; and senior Chet Loomis with a 38 on the back nine.

Low-net honors went to Mike Moyer Jr. and Jason Rafalski with a 34 on the front nine; Andy Hanks with a 37 on the back nine; senior Dudley Nollinger with a 28 on the front nine; and seniors Joe Muscaro, Jimmy MIller and Ed Streich with a 26 on the back nine.
