KANE — The Eisenhower boys and girls track & field teams opened their seasons with a split against Kane on Tuesday.

The Lady Knights posted a 76-73 win, while the boys fell 84-58.

Posting individual wins for the Eisenhower girls were Laney Belcher in the 400 meters (1:07.55), Emily Grosch in the 800 meters (2:55.7), Rosalie Rondeau in the 200 meters (28.84) and Sophia Martin in the pole vault (7-0). Rondeau also qualified for the districts in the triple jump after a leap of 31 feet, 11 inches.

Claiming individual wins for the Eisenhower boys were Joe Gigliotti in the 1,600 meters (5:30.55) and Easton Fitzgerald in the 200 meters (25.44).
