Tanner Stuart, a sixth-grade student at Beaty Warren Middle School, has been wrestling freestyle and greco for Bad Karma Wrestling Club out of Grove City this season. He placed first in both freestyle and greco at the Clarion and Bishop McCort state qualifier. Stuart also placed first in greco and second in freestyle at the Altoona state qualifier; and wrestled in the USAW Phil Portuese Northeast Regional qualifier in Atlantic City, New Jersey, taking second place in both freestyle and greco which qualifies him for kids nationals in Farmington, Utah this summer. Stuart recently wrestled in the PAUSAW State Championships held at Alvernia University in Reading where he was the 12U 86-pound greco state champion and state runner-up in freestyle.
