Warren routs Corry 41-11

Sammie Ruhlman and Alana Stuart combined for 10 points in Warren’s 15-2 second quarter en route to a 41-11 Region 5 win over Corry on Thursday at Warren Area High School.

“We looked rough early; a week off can do that,” said Warren coach Lisa LaVan, whose Dragons are 9-6 overall and 3-0 in the region. “We settled down after the first (quarter) and controlled the tempo our way.”

Stuart finished with 12 points, and Ruhlman had 10 points and six assists in the win. Halle Kuzminski pulled down eight rebounds and Meea Irwin had five steals for Warren.

The Dragons held the Beavers to one field goal in each of the first three quarters.

Corry is 3-9 overall and 0-4 in the region.
