Youngsville senior Olivia Darling, a middle hitter for the Eagles, was named to the District 10 Region 2 volleyball second-team all-stars for the recently completed 2022 season.

The region all-star nod is just the latest in a long list of accomplishments for the Eagles’ senior. Darling is a three-time letterwinner in volleyball and was voted team co-captain by her teammates this season. In addition, Darling was recently awarded the team’s “top kill award” as well as the coach’s award at the season ending banquet.

Darling’s serve percentage was 90% during her senior season and she also provided invaluable experience to the team’s core of younger players.

“Congratulations to Olivia on her second-team selection,” said Youngsville coach Hannah Bulard. “She is such a coachable kid and I’m very proud. It’s a great way to finish off her senior season.”
